Rik's Doctor Who Inspired Inset Dice Box and Tray

This is one of my first commissioned pieces. Both the dice box and tray are made from red oak with baltic birch plywood bottoms. Purple flocking was used to line the dice box innards and the tray has brass accents on its upper corners. The lid of the dice box and rolling surface of the tray have woodburnings depicting writing from Doctor Who. (I'm not actually sure what it says.)

Carved Laurel Dice Box and Tray Set

This set is made out of laurel. The top portion of the dice box is carved with a glyph and painted to match the green felt lining the bottom of the tray. Portions of the sides and the top of the box have also been carved by hand. The box is designed to allow for the inclusion of a counter (which I'll complete at a later date).

Dice Trays and Boxes

I love building dice trays and boxes. I've done a lot of experimenting with different styles and building techniques. Here are a few examples.

Other Woodworking Projects

Here are a few other projects that I've worked on in the past. Many of them I made in order to help build up my skills.
